While I only got to enjoy having Dawne as my supervisor for the last year and a half I have known her for much, much longer. She was on my first interview panel at WGTC and was one of my biggest supporters. I always knew that I could talk with her about any issue I was having and she had the most wonderful advice. We had so many wonderful conversations about love, life, and education. She kept us all laughing and was always a straight shooter. She would give the best encouragement without blowing any smoke. You always knew where you stood with her and she made sure work was fun. I thank God for her influence and impact on my life. My thoughts and prayers are with Judy and all of Dawne's family as you all process your grief. Dawne's bright and unique light continues through each of us who she impacted.
Dawne, you were such a sweet soul. It was truly an honor to know you and get to be around you. I will miss you very much.
