Mike was a close friend to my husband and myself. He was a devout Christian who believed in the power of prayer. He was sweet and funny, and he cared deeply about his family and friends. I will miss his humor and that wonderful voice of his.
Mike is a great buddy. We traveled, watched lots of planes at Auburn/Opelika airport, talked over lots of world problems, how we could solve them and make things better (yeah buddy) I can hear him say. He pulled for those Auburn Tigers and several times had our nerves tested. Best thing he loved was Christmas time and all the lights. We would ride hours and many nights to see them. He was like a child always excited when we saw a big Christmas tree all lit up in a window or behind a door with beveled glass that made those lights gleam brighter. He knew the true meaning of Christmas and Believed in God strongly. I know your healed and with Jesus, your mom and dad but you'll never be forgotten here. 'Til we meet again good buddy.
