Mr. Mike Sanford's Obituary
Mike Sanford, of Auburn AL, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2020. He was born to the late Margaret Black Sanford and Leon Oliver Sanford Jr. on October 29, 1957. He was 63 years old.
Mr. Sanford loved his family with all his heart and was surrounded by their loving hands until his last breath. Those who knew him well know that his sense of humor and affection will always be at the forefront of their memories. He also was very faithful in his walk with Jesus and loved to share his faith with anyone close by. In his last days, those he loved knew how excited he was to be healed and made whole.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Robert) Hoisington of Burlington, Iowa, siblings Marilyn Sanford, Ronnie Sanford, and Pam (Jeff) Kirby of Auburn, AL, grandchildren Richard, John Michael, Mary Hoisington, and many others that love and cared for him deeply.
Graveside service for immediate family only will be held at Dadeville Cemetery in Dadeville, AL on Tuesday December 29, 2020 at 11am. Rev. Rusty Sowell of Providence Baptist Church will be officiating.
Mr. Sanford was a devoted supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In lieu of flowers, his family respectfully asks that you consider a donation to this wonderful cause.
