Ms. Edna, Bob, & the whole family treated me like family, & that's how I feel about y'all too. David & I went to to kindergarten together & Mrs. Carter & Mrs. McIntosh did the best they could to get us started. They had their hands full! "Boo Boo" & I will be brothers to the end. 💪
Miss Edna cooked many meals for me over the years & welcomed me to their table. I'm forever grateful for her.
Mr. Bob straightened us out when needed; Yogi used to get us to UA games & made us feel like "big boys" & introduced us to many football greats at Bryant Hall. Kim & Pam used to entertain us & treated me like a brother as well.
I'm sorry I couldn't be there to celebrate this sweet woman's going home. We were in Texas getting our older son married when David let me know.
We will see her again because we believe.
