Nancy was a precious friend years ago when Clark & l lived in Montgomery. She was always the perfect hostess and was loving people like Jesus does no matter who they were, into her home. I will always remember her beautiful smile
and that gorgeous hair. She used everything she owned for the LORD, and adored her husband Mike. She always reminded me of being a "President's wife" because of her classic beauty. I am sure that my husband Clark (in heaven now), was one of the many, after Jesus, to welcome her to heaven. Heaven is definitely sweeter now! Many years have passed since seeing her but l will always remember her as the kindest, sweetest,
Christian l have ever known!! She loved to laugh & have fun. One of the fun times l remember was going with her and Patty Williams and a few others to Bay Point. I don't think l ever laughed so much with those sweet Christians.

My sincere to all the family in the loss of an old time acquaintance. Nancy and I knew each other as children when she and her parents visit our farm in Notasulga. My aunt Gertrude Webster Washburn Clark was married to Nancy's uncle Alvin "Red" Washburn. They would all come down and go fishing and have fish fries with us. I remember her wedding day with Mike, and many other special memories. Kind regards to all the family and her siblings from a friend of seven decades. God Bless you all.

Every memory I have of Nancy Kolen is with Mike by her side. Scotty and I had the opportunity to sit with them at a gathering a few years ago.
As always, Nancy had that lovely smile on her face and looked beautiful. I admired, yet was a bit jealous, that she had not “aged” in her beauty. I will always remember her as one of the most congenial, approachable, and graceful women I have ever known. My prayers to all of her family as you lay her earthly body to rest and grieve her being gone. God will give you strength.

I did not know Mrs Kolen, but my husband and I did know Mike, as he was our financial advisor for several years. We considered him a friend as well, and he spoke often of his lovely wife. Nancy was such a kind, gentle and loving person. I always enjoyed seeing her at the real estate office. She sat at the desk behind me. She will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to all her family and friends. I will alway remember her with love.
