I am so sorry for your loss! Ms. Nell was a precious lady that always spoke to me each Sunday! She would always ask me about my dad (Hollis Robinson who passed March 1) when he was sick and in the hospital! My family and I share that loss with you; it's not easy to let a loved one go! A great comfort is knowing she is with her Lord and Savior! May the Lord continue to embrace you with his love, comfort and care! Ps. 30:5 says weeping may tarry for the night , but joy with the morning! God made a promise that if we have received Salvation and are living a Christian life daily, we will be reunited with our loved ones forever!

Aunt Nell was always so sweet to me and she loved playing with the kids when they were little. She made the best sweet potatoes and pork tenderloin. We will miss her dearly. We love you all

I remember when my oldest was 2 1/2 (he’s now 18) and we were visiting Grandma Nell (what we called her) at her house one day. (At that time, we didn’t know her all that well. I was good friends with Brenda and we went with her to visit with her mama.) He was still using a pacifier. She looked at him and said, “You don’t need that pacifier. You’re too big for it. Can I have it.” He gave it to her willingly. We had been trying to get the pacifier away from him, but he didn’t want to part with it. He just gave it to her right then and there. We left the house and Grandma Nell secretly gave me the pacifier just in case. My son started asking for his pacifier about 30 minutes later. I told him that he had given it to Grandma Nell because he was too big for it. He looked at me with a surprised look and then just accepted it as a done deal. He never asked if I got it back or if I had another. He just figured it was over. We’ve talked about that all these years and how funny it was that he would give it to her so willingly even though he didn’t know her that well. I don’t know what prompted him to do that. Such a small thing, but it meant a lot to this mama. That’s the kind of lady she was. She had a servant’s heart and I admired that about her. Grandma Nell’s smile and her caring and generous heart has always blessed me.

For many years at First Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach, Nell smiled as she worked, gently helping and ministering quietly to others. We were in the same Sunday School Department and always knew she would be there to help. She was a wonderful Christian lady and we remember her so fondly. We pray God's comfort for her family.
