Mrs. Nell Andrews' Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Nell Andrews, 79, of Jacksons Gap, AL will be Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Dadeville. Dr. Ben Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Dadeville.
Mrs. Andrews passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at her residence. She was born on June 3, 1939 in Pickens County, Alabama to Ordrie Elison Johnson and Rozzie Mae Pate Johnson. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Dadeville. She was very involved in the Women’s Ministry and loved her Sunday School class greatly. Mrs. Nell was very loving, kind, generous, and giving. She was happiest when she was helping others. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Clements (Jimmy) of Marion, AL and Brenda Gunter (Mike) of Mary Esther, FL; grandchildren, Logan Clements and Ally Clements; sisters, Annie "Mae" Johnson of Mobile, AL, Betty Sue Thomas (Frederick) of Greensboro, AL and Louise Wolfe (Bob) of Milton, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 56 years, Francis Robert "Bob" Andrews; sister, Lorene Lyles; and brothers, Gene Johnson and Aulton Johnson.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Dadeville, Operation Christmas Child Fund, 178 South Tallassee Street, Dadeville, AL 36853.
