My whole life I heard about two wonderful people from Alabama. John T. served with my father Leonard in World War II. It was a blessing to travel from Ohio twice in adulthood to visit Pauline and John T. I will miss my phone calls to her but rejoice at their reunion. Peace be with you my friend. Elaine Koch
To the Family and Friends of Pauline Clanton:
I am Karen Clanton. My father, Edward Clanton, was the first cousin of Ted Clanton. Their fathers were identical twins, Clyde and Clarence Clanton.
Later in life, I was blessed to have had the opportunity to meet Cousins Ted and Pauline. My mother, Joyce Edwards Jackson, and I would visit when I came to Alabama to visit. They filled in a few blanks about the Clanton side of my family. I grew to love and appreciate Cousin Pauline's strength, humor, and grace.
