Dad and I shared many things. Being an only child of an only child – it is the very small family. One of my fondest memories of my father is when he would take me to the French quarter in New Orleans while my mother was that the dressmakers. We would spend the morning on the merry-go-round in city Park – he would walk me by Café Du monde - then over to Jackson Square. It is very sad that he never got to meet his great granddaughters Abigail and Hanna Dietz, The daughters of his oldest granddaughter Jessica. It is also hard for me not to be able to share with my father that his granddaughter Bailey Bercik has just received her offer of employment from Microsoft, she will be graduating from Georgia Tech in December 2018 with a degree in computer science. His youngest granddaughter Samantha birthday is attending Georgia Tech pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering following in her grandfather‘s footsteps! He would be so very proud of his granddaughters.
